Outside influence
I love being out in the natural world, it brings respite from the technologically driven world we now live in. We miss so much when in the bubble of our home, workspace or car. My urge to paint comes from those times when I am immersed in the natural world. I feel wonder at the variety, colour and beauty. For me, flowers are one of the most beautiful things in nature, the comforting sign of the changing seasons. Nature feeds us and brings us peace. My wish is for my art to embody those gifts of nature for you to enjoy in your own personal spaces.
Cottage Gardens - these are some of my favourite spaces, full of colour and chaos. Each flower and plant allowed to meander along well trodden garden paths. Ive spent many hours wandering England and exploring the many beautiful garden spaces.

Meadowlands - The most peaceful of all my walks, out in the wide open spaces, walking through farmland and open meadows. This is where I find wildflower favourites and lots of interesting seed heads!
