RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Returns and Refund Policy 

This policy applies to any purchase from Denise Couzens Art. As this website does not currently have an ecommerce function, it is for information only. Any queries you may have regarding purchases should be directed to denisecouzensart@gmail.com or via the contact page.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK/PRINTS/PRINTED PRODUCTS: 

We have a 30-day return policy on all mounted prints, unframed paper prints and original paintings, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  We are unable to offer returns on framed items. 
 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

 Due to the fact we package with extreme care, damages are extremely rare.  In the unlikely event your print/original arrives damaged, please inform the courier and take a photo of the damage, including the packaging and we will arrange a replacement for you.  Otherwise we may not be able to process the claim. 

No returns on sale/discounted items.  

If your purchase has been sent directly from a framer or fine art printer, please do not send your purchase back to the fine art printer, framer or manufacturer on your shipping label. I cannot guarantee that your purchase will be able to be received safely and this may result in a loss of your purchase. 

To start an exchange or return, you can contact us at denisecouzensart@gmail.com . Once accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange / return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24hrs so that we can arrange a replacement.  If issues are reported after 24hrs replacements may not be possible.   

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, e.g. custom products (such as special orders, bespoke size/frame options or personalised items).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 
 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. 

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 

 Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
